Dr. Keith is a native of central New York but he embarked on a journey south to North Carolina after graduating high school. His snow-shoveling muscles needed a rest! He is a cum laude graduate of Davidson College and played soccer for the Wildcats.

Following college, he went to dental school at the University of North Carolina where he received his DDS earning honors with distinction. Dr. Keith subsequently moved to Kentucky to begin his orthodontic residency at the University of Louisville. He obtained a Certificate in Orthodontics and MS in Oral Biology for his research on Invisalign.

In addition to spending time in private practice, Dr. Keith is a part-time faculty member at the University of Louisville orthodontic program. He finds it invigorating to be part of the academic environment where he is able to teach residents and stay abreast of emerging techniques and technology.

He also remains active in the American Association of Orthodontists and several local organizations in which he serves as the Treasurer for the Southern Indiana Dental Association.

Dr. Keith loves orthodontics because it involves working as a team with co-workers and patients. Dr. Keith and his wife, Lauren, have a son and two snarky cats. Outside of the office, his favorite activity is spending time with family and friends. Otherwise, he enjoys soccer, tennis, martial arts, traveling, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.

Dr. Becht is a native of Louisville, KY. He is a graduate of Saint Xavier High School
where was president of Student Council and ran for the cross country and track teams.

He obtained a degree in Biology with honors from the University of Dayton where he also ran cross country. He then returned home and graduated with honors from University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2006. He is very happy to be back in the Louisville area after his 3-year residency at

West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV, where he earned a Masters of Science in Orthodontics. Dr. Becht remains active in education as he is a part-time faculty member at the University of Louisville orthodontic residency and thoroughly enjoys the ability to keep up to date with new trends in the orthodontic field.

Dr. Becht is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and Southern Indiana Dental Society. He is a past president of The Kentucky Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Becht and his wife, Becca, have one son, Harrison. Dr. Becht’s personal interests include running (he has completed the Boston Marathon 3 times), golf, hunting, and college sports (especially the University of Louisville). He also enjoys learning how to cook.

Dr. Badger enjoys fishing and resides in Sellersburg with his wife Beth. He has four children: David graduated from Northwestern University in 2004 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Ann graduated from Butler with a BA in Sociology and then earned her MSSW from the UofL Kent School of Social Work. Tyler is the owner of Faceone Solutions and has one daughter, Ava. Sara attends the University of Oregon.

Dr. Spiller and his wife, Pam, have two children Rebecca and Robert. Rebecca graduated from Miami University with a BS in business and marketing. She currently works for Scoppechio in Louisville, KY. Robert graduated from Butler University with a BS in biology and is in medical school in Alabama. Dr. Spiller is a US Army Reserve retiree.

Hello, my name is Leann and have been with this practice for 37 years. My wonderful husband, Pete, and I have a blended family for 6 beautiful daughters, and I am a Mimi to 2 amazing grandsons. I love the friendships I have developed over the years with our patients. The beach is my happy place and I love going to Destin every year.

I have been a member of Nicholson and Becht Orthodontics for 8 years. My husband, Rod, and I have been married for 27 years and we have 2 beautiful daughters. Allyson is 23, and she is a graduate of U of L with her BSN in nursing. Bayley is 20 and she works for Southeast Christian Church, where she is also on the worship team. I love my co-workers and I thoroughly enjoy getting to meet and help our patients and their families. WE all work as a team to give every patient the most beautiful smile imaginable. Some fun facts about myself are that I teach “Group Fitness” at Maxwell’s House of Fitness and I can walk on my hands.

I am married to Larry, and we have a blended family of 7 children and 10 grandchildren. I am a lab technician and have been with this practice for 28 years. It gives me great satisfaction to create custom-made appliances and retainers for our patients. My greatest enjoyment is spending time with my family, reading, shopping, and hobnobbing on social media.

I’m Sheila and I’m a clinical assistant. I have a wonderful husband, 3 handsome sons, and 4 beautiful grandchildren. We love to play sports, watch sports, and enjoy riding horses. I love working for Dr Nicholson and Dr. Becht and enjoy seeing everyone’s beautiful smiles after having braces.

I’ve been in orthodontics for 44 years; 18 of those years have been with Nicholson and Becht Orthodontics. I have a son Russell, daughter Sarah, and 3 grandchildren. What I love most ab2out my job is meeting new patients and socializing with them. I was once told you find a job you love and you’ll never work again – that’s me!!

I have been with Nicholson and Becht Orthodontics for 11 years. I am married to my best friend, Chris, and together we have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. I love camping and spending time with my grandkids.

My name is Tina and I’m a clinical assistant. I’m married and have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. I enjoy orthodontics because it’s a wonderful way to meet new people and be a part of an awesome experience that leads to a beautiful, healthy smile that lasts a lifetime.

My name is Heather and I am the treatment coordinator for the Scottsburg and Madison offices. I am married to my husband, Chris, and we have 3 wonderful children: Trenton, Kelsea and Ally. I love spending time with my family and friends, cooking, and baking. I enjoy getting to know the patients and their family throughout their journey at our office. Their positive experience is my main goal every day and I love every minute of it!

My name is Apple and I have been working in Orthodontics as an assistant for 11 years. What I enjoy most about my job is getting to know each patient and seeing their end result. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and playing with my kids.

My name is Betsey. I’ve been at Nicholson and Becht Orthodontics for almost 3 years. I’m happily married to my best friend, Matt. Together we have 2 fur babies named Rocky and Gary. My hobbies include trying new restaurants, working out, and baking. My favorite thing about my job is meeting new people every day and forming relationships with patients.

I have worked at Nicholson and Becht Orthodontics as a clinical assistant for 2 years. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my (very wild) 5-year-old son, Peyton. Working with Dr. Nicholson and Dr. Becht has been such a blessing and I have formed many great friendships with my co-workers and our patients. I look forward to coming to work every day and helping others as they embark on their journey toward having a more perfect smile.

I have worked at Nicholson and Becht Orthodontics since February 2017. I enjoy working with patients to help them achieve the smile they have always wanted. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, dancing, and baking.

My name is Tiffanie and I’m a clinical assistant at Nicholson and Becht Orthodontics. I have a daughter named Brooklyn. I love spending time with her and the rest of my family. I also enjoy coaching cheerleading, cake decorating, and dabbling in photography. I absolutely love seeing the confident smiles that leave our office!

I graduated from West Washington high school in 2003, then I attended University of Southern Indiana in Evansville. I started working for the practice in 2012. I’m a huge softball fan and played for many years. I run my own Home Decor business on the side called the Rugged Willow. I love antiques and vintage finds.  My favorite part of my job is being around all the parents and kids.
